Congratulations to the Wrestling Team which again are the Marquette
County Champions!
-
Congratulations to the Girls Basketball Program - They are half way
through this season and the Freshman Team is still undefeated, the
JV Team has exceeded the total wins of the previous 2 years and the
Varsity Team is 8-3 which is their best start in many years, some of
those wins include victories over neighboring rivals Westwood and
Negaunee. The Varsity currently sits in 3rd place out of the 8
team conference

proud. You are joining a great group of coaches at IHS.
Announcements

Thank you to all the parents, students and
community members who have volunteered this year to work the
concession stand at our sporting events. Your efforts have
contributed greatly to keeping the participation cost down for IHS
student athletes. Parents of athletes are reminded that two
volunteer sessions per student athlete is the recommended standard.
It is not expected that you work a concession stand when your
student athlete is participating, so please volunteer for other
sporting event openings or part of an evening (Freshman, JV or
Varsity time slots).
