It is the goal of the
Ishpeming School Childcare Center to provide
quality, convenient, and affordable childcare
for the families of our community. We
understand the level of trust you place in us
when you enroll your child. We are
committed to recreate a "neighborhood for
children" -- a happy place where all kids feel
safe, valued, and accepted."
Young
Learners Program
This program is open to all
children ages 3 to 7 years and who are toilet
trained. Our goal is to help children
develop happy, healthy attitudes toward learning
and positive feelings
about
themselves as learners. Children in this
age group are making the transition from
imaginative play to more cognitive thinking. Our
classrooms let children explore in both
directions. Daily activities include
language arts/books, science/sensory, music and
movement. this program also works well for
children already enrolled in a kindergarten,
young 5 or developmental preschool who need
childcare before or after class.
Bussing during the regular school day
is
available
to district students 4 years
of age and older.
Morning and afternoon sessions available.
